About the Author

LISA FOSMO is a writer and nature photographer from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Lisa’s work has appeared in various journals, magazines, and anthologies. Nature continues to be the greatest influence in her work. She has a great love of conservation, including the preservation of Native Bees and their habitat. She enjoys having a large pollinator garden in her backyard.

Lisa lives with her husband and two cats along Lake Michigan. She enjoys time in nature often in the north woods to write in peace. Lisa is the current Vice President of the UP Poet Laureate foundation.
