A Rose in a Mist: A Mist in a Rose is asking you to recall and honour your holy vow and embark on your personal grail quest, to live and love with valour, for when we thrive, all life thrives around us. This book is asking you to ignite your heart and set the world alight with the divine flame of love. The title of this book is dedicated to Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene, whom James affectionately refers to as his Lord and Lady, symbolic of the rose and the mist.

About the Author

J. A. DOLAN is a Romany mystical poet whose influences are drawn from his strong love for spiritual matters. James's poetry was formed from the adversity of his Gypsy upbringing in the 1980s UK.

By his own admission, he was “a feral child” to a degree, with very little education until later years, a real bohemian who lived off the land on many occasions and, by doing so, had become one with the land. Orchards in the mist were his holy sanctuary and where his own mysteries began to the extent he became a real-life version of the fictional character Edward Bloom from the movie “Big Fish.”

James’s life has been one magical happening after another, to the degree he waited just over 20 years to share his poems after faithfully honoring the omens that led him to publication. “A Rose in a Mist, A Mist in a Rose” is James’s first book of poetry.
