Camellia's poems resonate with an authenticity that flows straight from her heart. They enfold you like a comforting hug, brimming with wisdom gathered from life's rich experiences.
While her poems provide comfort, they also delve deeper. They don't shy away from life's tougher moments. Instead, they use these challenges as stepping stones for growth and self-discovery.
Camellia guides us to see that confronting life's hardships, rather than avoiding them, unlocks the doors to genuine transformation and a deeper understanding of ourselves.
This debut collection stands as a powerful reminder that we can find meaning and peace, even when facing life's most turbulent moments.
With each turn of the page, you'll find yourself nodding in recognition, feeling the warmth of shared experience, and ultimately, discovering a path towards your own sense of peace and wholeness.
“Camellia Stadts’ debut book of poetry weaves words like her yarn knits, sweaters, blankets, and shawls. You’ll nod with understanding because her wisdom is warm. And you might hear yourself whisper, ‘I, too, love the smell of Lilacs when they bloom in May.’ And so, when you read her poetry, it feels nostalgic, pure, and real. Her words bring you home.”
—CAROLYN RIKER, author of The Colors I Hear
“Camellia is a sensitive human being, supportive to other poets, attuned to nature and writes of her hopes for a time when we hold these as sacred. There is an honesty in her own poetry that comes from her heart. She seeks a peace for herself and all life. I celebrate her sharing her hopes and her faith in this book of her poetry.”
—NAOMI STONE, poet, mystic, Teacher, and Friend
“It was a pleasure, joy and honor to immerse myself in the poems of Camellia’s The Creator’s Touch. Camellia is a poet whose honesty and storytelling gifts flow through every word, weaving themselves around an axis of integrity and commitment to leaving no stone unturned in the piercing exploration of self. Camellia adeptly positions herself as the witness and reviewer of her life, not to judge or berate, but to reflect on how faith acts as a filter through which all of life’s seasons unfold. Reading Camellia’s work, one finds much to relate to in the understanding that the challenges of life, in their full recognition, and in their flowering through words, are the pathway to redemption, and transcendence. As Camellia’s words so beautifully say it: ‘So, dig. Dig deep / for your treasure of Joy.’”
—TAMMY STONE TAKAHASHI, author of Yoga Healing Love: Poems for a Peaceful Mind and Happy Heart
